Story: Ruthie is a sweet girl who loves to have fun and party. She is a huge flirt and loves
boys with ALL her heart. She hasn't found the perfect boy yet, though.
She is in the gifted program at school, but hates the fact that everyone assumes she is some
nerd. She HAPPENS to have a life, and would like it if people showed her some respect.
Nick Scott
Name: Nick
Age: 17
Story: This is Nick, a sweet guy who is shy. He is a huge softy and loves making girls feel
special. He does EXTREMELY well in school, but keeps it a secret. He doesn't want people to
know how nerdy he really is. All the girls love him because he is such a sweet guy, but he
wants something more.
Luke Crane
Name: Luke
Age: 17
Story: This is Luke, a super cute, loyal and athletic guy. He is your typical popular guy, but
with a bit of a dark side. He has been through a lot in the passed year... His mom and dad were
killed in a car crash, and now he lives with his older brother, Mike, who is 23, and his little
sister Meggie who is only 8. He guards his sister with his life and cares about her more than
anything. But when he meets a girl, will things start to change?
Fiona Castro
Name: Fiona
Age: 17
Story: This is Fiona, she is a rebel and is considered a bad girl among her friends. She is
tough and harsh, but once you get to know her she has a sweet side. She went to jail last year
for drugs, and her "too old" boyfriend, Mike, bailed her out. They broke up weeks later, and
Fiona was crushed, and robbed a jewelry store and stole all the wedding rings, and burned them.
She is rather crazy, and quite misunderstood. Will she find someone who can help her find
herself?
Jake Milldings
Name: Jake
Age: 18
Story: Jake was a true hero. When he was only 12, he saved a little girl from drowning. At 14,
climbed a 60 foot tall tree to save a small kitten. But one night while driving... he gets into
a crash, and 2 people are killed. Jake isn't sure whether or not the crash was his fault, and
neither is anyone else, but he still feels like a murderer. He is in deep depression, and has
attempted suicide many times. His girlfriend, Lola (coming soon) has kept him alive, but when
she suddenly is landed in the hospital, how will Jake survive?
Mandy Carr
Name: Mandy
Age: 19
Story: Mandy is another bad girl, with a HORRIBLE reputation. She is still a senior in high
school because she was held back a year for failing all her classes. Everyone things Mandy is
just another messed up teenager, but she has a deeper reason for doing such bad things. She saw
her family get killed when she was 12. She had the chance to save her baby brother, but before
she could get to him, the man shot him. He shot her in the leg, but she survived because the
police came soon enough. She ran away from her foster home a year later, and lived on the
streets until she was 16, and then was taken back to foster care. She is angry and depressed,
and needs major mental help. Nobody seems to understand Mandy, and she wonders if anyone ever
will.
Lola Fargo
Name: Lola
Age: 18
Story: Lola was a bad girl gone good, in this case. She used to smoke pot, beat up kids, and
vandalize buildings. But when she was forced to raise her little sister, Lessie (coming soon),
a vulnerable 10 year old, everything changed, and Lola went from bad to good practically over
night. She later met Jake, a boy who seriously needed some help, and they quickly fell in love.
But when Lola learns of Jake's dark side, she struggles to help him and keep him grounded and
safe, along with the responsibilities she has with Lessie. But when Lola is hit by a car,
unable to care for Jake or Lessie, she is terrified something will happen to both of them.
Carly Rilo
Name: Carly
Age: 15
Story: Carly is a sweet girl, with a rich family, tons of friends, and amazing grades. On the
outside, everyone thinks Carly is perfect, and rising to the top. Nobody realizes though, that
Carly is crumbling to the ground on the inside, and it doesn't seem like she will last much
longer. She suffers serious depression, is suicidal, and feels alone, even though she has a ton
of friends. Nobody seems to understand Carly. Carly wants to escape her problems, and escape
her life. Will this mean running away from her "perfect" life and dropping out of school so she
can get away? She needs to find someone who understands her, and if she doesn't find anyone
soon, Carly may result to drastic measures to escape her pain.
Meggie Crane
Name: Meggie
Age: 8
Story: Meggie's parents died 2 years ago, and she hardly remembers them at all. She had been in
the car when they hot another car head on, and it all happened so fast. Luke had pulled her out
of the wreck, and from that moment on seemed to guard her with his life. He walked her into
school, gripping her hand tightly and giving the teachers strict instructions to watch out for
her carefully. Meggie was a carefree 8 year old in 3rd grade, who was being raised by her two
older brothers. But then Luke meets the girl of his dreams, and Meggie slowly feels as though
she is being pushed aside... what will happen to Meggie, and will her family be split up even
more than it already had been?
