Education - What exactly is it?

Tony Blair has banged on about education for many making a massive statement with one of these damning words 'education, education, education'. It is rather easily said and perhaps understood by some but doesn't this vary from one individual to another and from society to society?

There are numerous issues involved defining the phrase education. Generally, Web de oposiciones is described as planning to school, then college or university and thereafter finding a job. Obviously, passing of exams reflects how clever an individual is. However, do exams reflect how intelligent a person is or have we like a society attached a label into it? It needs to be noted that some individuals are 'academically' bright. With this, I am talking about they may be enthused by learning theory at schools and focus challenging for exams then pass getting pretty high grades. Alternatively, it needs to be taken to attention that academically intelligent people may lack intelligence in other fields. Perhaps you have considered that? For example, an individual who gets high grades for exams might not have the social skills necessary for the 'real world'. So doesn't this suggest their studies were a waste of time? Do we need to study really hard and obtain high gpa's to get the title 'intelligent'? In the end, when we examine historical figures, did they're going to school? Did inventors start such as this. These are the questions we must ask ourselves.

For me personally, being a student at postgraduate level, We have met many individuals from around the globe. From this experience I've discovered that the way intelligence is measured in this contemporary society is one thing to think about. From medical professionals to cleaning staff, I have met a range. Using this, I'm able to conclude how the way intelligence is measured in society is worrying. People with degrees will work in areas which has no relevance with their subject area the ones are continually being utilized for reasons apart from their academic qualifications. Therefore, are academic institutions preparing us for your big bad world? A response we can receive considering what's happening around us. I personally believe that 'intelligence' is measured inside the wrong way. All things considered, academic qualifications are purely according to gaining a title which sticks with wherever we go but our mind are continuously collecting information, ideas, where ever you look..from people we meet and interact with. In addition, countries high is no formal institution to show doesn't mean how the folks that society are uneducated but perhaps more educated because they must gain skills without any kind of guidance from 'so-called' professional bodies which, let's face it, aren't always the most brightest.
